A public identifier for an account or contract. Verify the full address and target network before sending.
A sensitive set of words used to derive or restore wallet accounts and best kept offline.
Secret data used to create digital signatures and control the corresponding account.
Information derived from a private key and used for cryptographic verification; it is not the private key.
A protocol-defined package of transactions or state updates.
A network participant that propagates, verifies or stores blockchain data.
The process by which a transaction is included in a block and gains additional blocks after it.
The property by which a network treats state as no longer easily reorganised; rules vary by network.
A unit for measuring execution resources and calculating network fees.
A unique identifier used to locate a specific blockchain transaction.
Code deployed on a blockchain that changes state according to defined rules.
The Ethereum Virtual Machine execution model used by multiple compatible networks.
A scaling system related to a base network that handles some execution or data processing.
An application that interacts with blockchains or smart contracts through wallets or other interfaces.
A cryptographic result created with a private key to prove account authorisation or data origin.
A limit defining how much of a token a contract may be allowed to spend on behalf of an account.
A smart contract defining token balances, transfers and approval rules.
A non-fungible on-chain asset record typically identified by a contract and token ID.
A network role that participates in consensus under PoS protocol rules.
An arrangement that commits assets to PoS-related participation and can involve both rewards and risks.
